Premier League 21/22

Surely one issue the barcodes have is FFP if they go down.

Their spending will be restricted as ours was, and they will still have players they have today contracted on big money so limited capacity to buy anyone even with parachute payments.

This feels like small fry in the context of clubs worming their way through FFP, though.

Do the Premier League care? Do the EFL have have jurisdiction if they go up immediately?

Hey, fancy swapping Champions League football for a relegation scrap in the PL where you get to manage Jonjo Shelvey?

Nah, you are ok,

They should've kept Bruce, got relegated them let him get em up again then replace Bruce.

Their squad now is pish and they'll be lucky to stay up. They aren't going to attract a top boss without decent players and that seems unlikely in January.

They're hooped (well striped) right now

What has happened to Villa? They look absolutely horrendous so far tonight ! Their defence looks all over the place.

Think Smith is on borrowed time tbh.

Last week he dropped his captain (Mings) and it blew up in his face with a red card and a 4-1 hammering at home.

Defensively all over the shop and the balance just looks off in all departments.

Think Smith will be the next manager to get the chop.

Got them up and done better than I expected to be honest.

I think losing Grealish is massive for them. He was their talisman, captain and main man.

Smith I think will to down as one of those Championship managers that doesn't quite cut it in the PL.

On flip side the Southampton boss goes under the radar. But he gets a lot out of what is an average squad where he always has to sell his best players like ings.

some of these teams with money should look at him .

I agree but think those huge losses have turned a lot off of him

Keane is a pundit on the derby today-Will be some of the finest TV possible seeing him rant about them getting thrashed
