True, many managers have said the flow of their team was negatively affected by the opposition going down to 10 men but it wasn't really true in this case was it? 11 V 11 we deserved to be in front but they had created a couple of chances. After the red card we totally dominated the first half and had plenty of chances that we should have taken. When it was still 1-0 with 10 minutes to go we dropped off and invited them on more. This would have probably happened earlier if they had 11 men today. It seems a poor excuse to try and reason with based on the flow of the game today. It was a mistake bringing them in before the start of next season. They’ll be damaged goods by then, however unfair. In terms of the comment, if we concede we capitulate, if we go ahead we aren’t strong enough to see it through.
