Smith,s comment, it affected us them going down to 10 men. WTF, can't imagine any other manager in the EFL using the excuse that they've had an extra man for well over an hour as part of the reason for another abject failure. Unbelievable!

Plenty of experienced managers have said that before, never mind an assistant thrown into the hotseat in difficult circumstances.

Rather them say nothing than come out with absolute boll*cks.

It may well be true that it affected us, at least between that and missing the penalty. Wouldn’t necessarily say Smith was talking b0ll0cks there.

What that doesn’t mean is that it’s acceptable - the mentality of this squad is p*ss poor, you only have to look at the fact that we haven’t gotten a single point from games where we’ve gone behind to see that.

True, many managers have said the flow of their team was negatively affected by the opposition going down to 10 men but it wasn't really true in this case was it?

11 V 11 we deserved to be in front but they had created a couple of chances. After the red card we totally dominated the first half and had plenty of chances that we should have taken. When it was still 1-0 with 10 minutes to go we dropped off and invited them on more. This would have probably happened earlier if they had 11 men today.

It seems a poor excuse to try and reason with based on the flow of the game today.

It never seems to have any positve effect on us when we go down to ten men.

Not to mention we were 1-0 up when Brizzle were reduced to 10 men. Hard to see another team throwing away such an advantage never mind blaming it for costing us points. In fact we've not come back from being 1-0 down once this season with a full team.

And theres no end to it is there?.....why WHY come out and add insult to injury? Thats what gets me,be aware of the bigger picture, when making your comments...how much better would it have been to say we could and should have done better?

At this stage with these players, what would you like to hear?..Its your Club, your money, your team...Your manager/asst....

Give us some credit FFS

I am just so glad the fans havnt been able to go to games and have paid to watch this rubbish...(some have paid i know, and havnt yet got their money back)

It’s a concern that DM and his team will be written off before ever having a chance. It was a mistake bringing them in before the start of next season. They’ll be damaged goods by then, however unfair.

In terms of the comment, if we concede we capitulate, if we go ahead we aren’t strong enough to see it through. And now apparently if the opposition already trailing by a goal go down to 10 men it “effects us....” This squad has the weakest mentality of any team I’ve ever seen, in any sport......f@cking dire.
