BREAKING - Darren Moore gets Pneumonia and is OUT again

Recommended Posts

Main thing, only thing in this is he gets well. Football is football and wherever we are when the season kicks off next season it will happen and the story of Wednesday will carry on. A person's health is more important than football.

Get well soon Darren and stay away from the club until you’re better.

Health and family first.

Is this something that people usually make a full recovery from? Sounds very worrying.

A mate of mine got pneumonia, and whilst he wasn't the fittest bloke in the world he wasn't massively unhealthy either and it took him a good 9 months to recover. He was hospitalised for the first 2/3 months of that too.

It is very worrying.

My friend got pneumonia a couple of years ago, she was fit as a fiddle, aged 36 at the time, regularly ran and played tennis and it totally knocked her for six.

Took her a good 6-8 months to recover and she didn’t have the complications of blood clots and asthma to contend with.

Let’s all hope he makes the speediest recovery possible and it’s not as bad as it sounds.

Let’s also hope that this situation also finally gets a reaction from this group of players which will make him feel at least a bit better.

There has been loads of love for him on social media from the “football world” and he is obviously very well thought of in the media and by players he played with, players who played for him and supporters from his previous clubs.
