Watching Florist game. Their pitch looks superb. I presume their ubdersoil heating must work seeing as they are only 40 mile down the road and have had the same freezing temperatures we have had.

I was down there on Thursday. The pavement outside the ground had ice an inch thick on it. So, yes it has been cold there.

points deduction? surely not , whats rotherham excuse then? can they get a higher points deduction then? whatabout blackpool and just about every game in league 2. we had snow on pitch after game on tuesday then that will have froze.

Rotherham have no under soil heating , but we do.

We are doing it to save money, they are doing it because their pitch is probably frozen.

Surely we've at least tried to move this to tomorrow and Stoke back to Wednesday?

It just seems by far the most logical solution?

No idea why this hasn't happened. With no fans in, there's very little reason not just put the games back a day.

Weather is supposed to be 6-7C warmer tomorrow.

Where did you learn that from?

The chairman and club are skint, it costs a lot of electric to put the heating on.

We have a new artificial pitch that if the under soil is on cannot freeze at the temperature we have had if if course the heating had been turned on. Aberdeen was -23 this week yet their game with St Mirren they have a very similar aged ground and yet they have no problem getting their game on.

To fans saying they're only effective to a certain temperature can you tell us what temperature that is and how come that games are being played today and tonight all over the country?

It has felt especially cold in Sheffield today
