I expect the usual suspects to pull this post to bits and they are entitled to do so but if I had any advice for DC going forward. When it comes to the appointment of the next manager. Don’t listen to your chief advisor, don’t listen to the fans. Go with your gut

He just spent 25 minutes telling us that is what he did with Pulis mate

Its not a feeling I ever felt I'd have, but I have to agree. The guy is literally a human cancer, destroying the club from the inside and at the same time blaming anyone but himself.

I've been saying this for over 4 years now. What's incredible that there are still people on here that still defend him and his tactics.

To be fair to him, he’s admitted to his mistake today?

I’m not in the business of arguing who’s right and who’s wrong. There will be several others along like yourself to tell me I’m wrong yet again. I’m just posting it as I see it but I accept that I don’t know as much about Wednesday and Football as yourself and others on here.

He will kill our club. It’s already on its last legs imo. The man is poison.

Unfortunately he's got no intention of selling up and he can't be forced to sell. Some people enjoy inflicting pain and humiliation on others. I'd say that the owner feeds off the growing vitriol against him.

He’s fooked up and thrown money at it chasing the lights of premier league football.

SWFC need more than 9 months in the premier league.

The club is stale, old and needs a complete overhaul. Investment was needed from the ground up. If you squirt cream on a pile of dog $hit it doesn’t make it a trifle.

I don’t fall for gimmicks and haven’t put a penny into the club since buying my 12 month old niece a £40 shirt, I’ve tea towels that were bigger and better made.

Look at what Ken Booth did to Rotherham when he took their ground, £200,000 rent a year and upkeep. That’s 2004 money for a 11,000 shithole.

Club is stale and living off former glory

I always find it hilarious that people are hurt that Chansiri isn’t pandering or apologising to us fans.

When do business owners ever apologise to their customers? When has Richard Branson ever apologised? Michael O’Leary? Has Boris Johnson apologised to the public at any point in the last 12 months?

People seem engraved in this culture that football is somehow different from all that. Chairman’s have absolutely no affiliation with their club, they’re not a fan. Chansiri isn’t a Sheffield native residing in Dore. He’s here to make money and doesn’t see it even 1% the same as us. When he’s criticised he’ll get defensive. Whether that’s personality or culture, but how can you honestly expect this to change after 5 years?

Absolutely right. Id say that everything is going exactly to his plan at the club. I don't know what the endgame will be other than selling up or receiving a worldwide ban for his activities.

But the route we take to that end game is guaranteed to be a nightmare for us fans.

The won't apologise as he's doesn't believe he has anything to apologise for.

Look back over history and find any despot or dictator who actually said they were sorry.

He has no intention of selling the club as he's enjoying himself too much.

Not missed a home game for 40 years (apart from this year when the ground was closed to fans).

His comments about wanting our refunds and his customer nonsense is the last straw.

He won't get a single penny from me again.

And, I am still waiting for my £280, which for a struggling self-employed Newsagent, is a lot of money.

Happy New Year.

Quite ironic by saying you are waiting for your money back you sound like a customer

Sooner people realise we are just customers now in football the better. Chairmen (not just Chansiri) don’t care how many years you’ve been going, where you’ve sat, how many generations of your family have trudged through the turnstiles, they care about bank balances and profits. Football now more than ever is a business, it’s a race to the top of a greasy pole where a big pot of gold awaits those that are lucky enough to make it up there. The rest get left floundering in the poo at the bottom. The only bond that remains of a club now is between fans and even we can’t agree and argue most of the time.

Football has changed forever and it’s not coming back.

This is spot on. Only at non league does the older way of doing things seem largely still alive. League football is fully commercialised and actually some of this is creeping into non league
