The willingness of some people to think the worst of DC before there’s any detail known about what’s happened - or even any evidence that something has actually happened - is quite astonishing.

Well it would be if it weren’t so predictable.

You're 100% correct that it's ridiculous to jump to conclusions, but there is an air of ineptitude about DC...

Wonder which player just left with an angry grudge who would like nothing more than to see Wednesday have a crap week after such a great turnaround since the dressing room clearout happened?

As if that would happen....

Dont know why people get in a flap,

he's using this time to show we are conforming to FFP and saving on wages, can't see a problem,

high earners who refused to play out their contracted deals should not be paid for work they refused to do.

And why on earth would they expect a "Loyalty" bonus?...Thats just ripping it...

Even if the club has done nothing wrong and e everything is in order, it is still frustrating to see stories like this get leaked.

All just points towards a questionable culture within the football club.

A few jilted, trouble making players taking one final parting shot perhaps?

Who knows.

So we’re currently defending ourselves against an EFL charge which might see us relegated.  We’ve had to sell our ground as a short term (shortsighted?) means of avoiding embargo / points penalty as a consequence of mismanaging finances.  We’ve sold the ground in such a way that may see us with a points penalty anyway.

And now this story breaks - given that it’s not the first time something like this has happened, what are people supposed to think of DC?
