However, both him and Fox are certainly not premier league material. It’s as simple as that. Fletcher spent nearly his whole career in the prem before coming here.. could imagine him doing a squad role as he has the quality. Fox has a great attitude but no pace nor attacking threat so definitely won’t be playing there

We would be lucky to get 2 mil for him at the moment.

If the grass looks greener down the road then thanks for your service and good luck at your new club.. For a couple of years, the consensus has been that Fox was a league 1 player. I don’t see that he has the pace or strength to compete in the prem. Not sure what Fletchers scoring record was like when he was in his prime, playing in the prem, but there’s a reason he has been playing in this league for 3 years. malek
Fox must have hell of a manager to get him linked with Premiership club. Interest in Fletcher however makes sense. I can see mid table sides offering year or two year deal to help them with his experience as one of 4 strikers in rotation.
gurujuan
Perhaps the club realises they probably won’t sign, hence the hastily arranged one year deal offer to Penney. Finding a steady left back shouldn’t be too difficult, but finding 4 or 5 good strikers, well that’ll be near on impossible
