We need someone that can come in to the team straight away. Surprised if we aren’t exploring the European market, usually cheaper. If he is carrying an injury, then that’s a worry, and we might be better looking elsewhere. Nobody springs to mind right now, maybe Davis at Villa, although Smith said he will be involved with the first team. In fact he started the other night, and added to his long list of blanks. We don't particularly have to rush and can look at other options. According to Transfermarkt, he's missed 38 games since 17/18 through injuries. 3 seperate injuries last season...all calf issues...one of which is this injury which is still ongoing.
