Read this carefully and do the math please..

Fulham get 150m a season....

I have previously said they signed 2-3 big players and the rest were not PL level.

I have also said spending above £200m plus is what is needed so lets say £20m a player. 10 outfield players needed whilst a goalkeeper for the PL wouldnt need to cost £20m.

Since 2014/2015 the only two sides to spend above £200m in the summer transfer window are Manchester City and Chelsea.

Please stop this lol

He spent £100 million in the close season and has yet to win a game.

Considering we have not got 10p to spend.

He is not the man for S6.

Fulham are playing in the premier league, way more difficult than the championship

and they have won this season .

other that your correct lol

But look at the calibre they got for it and look where they are in the league.

Is the calibre of these players the reason for their league position?

Or should should  - (too borrow one of our own most favourite of Owlstalks sayings )

"The manager be getting much more out of his players"

And they have 6 loan players....

Not exactly gonna set the league on fire with loan players are they.

The way I look at it is they had to spend very little on loans and as you say championship quality players.

Why.?

Because they spent big on the other few players.

Spend £110million and get called cheap.. only on owlstalk.

Well he either spent the money and left the club bottom of the league.....which by any standards is shocking!

Or Fulham bought in volume and not the big named signings which can change games and keep them up.

Which is it?

Poor recruitment or poor management?

Out of work manager

Out of work for a reason.

Got the boot from his last job.

Foreign

Etc etc

Certainly a far better bet than some of the managers that have been bandied about on this forum. Recent success with two sides. I'm sure he will not be short of offers of employment, both here and abroad.

Fulham have spent in excess of 100m on 14 new additions. They have spent in volume....but not big.

Maybe your perception of big isnt big after all....

Look at it another way....the manager had money to spend, he chose to spread it around and buy a number of moderately priced players. He could have decided to buy a couple of good players.

His decision and it looks like he made the wrong one.
