swfcjack27
If we lose he has to go for me, if we win everyone will be buzzing and probably buys him a few games after the international break, where does he stand if we get a point? Would be a decent result considering how things are going for both sides but still struggling in the league and could get dragged in further if results go against Saturday. Not sure where I stand. Owlbert Einstein
Think to get anything other than a loss out of the game is a good result for us away from home, especially with how well they are doing.. Would be harsh to sack him if we drew in my opinion
OwlofOliveGrove
It'd mean him keeping his job, that's for sure. Not that I really think a loss would definitely lose it for him at this point. I'd take a draw right now. If we win though.....
S36 OWL
For me his time is up anyway, regardless of tonight's result.
room0035
We are not going to break the clean sheet voodoo tonight so the only way we get anything out of this game is playing an attacking team and go to out score them. Sheff Utd are not defensively strong and the defenders like to get forward leaving gaps at the back. Like I said in a link yesterday we need to be attack minded if we roll with 5 at the back and Nuihu up front the tie is only going one way. matthefish2002
Depends what kind of draw. 2 down with 10 mins to play and get a draw and will buy him time. Winning late on and makes a daft substitution and draw then he should go. Uneventful 0-0 like last year and will probably limp on bit longer. WalthamOwl
Personally feel he needs to go whatever the result. Praying for a win but long term I don’t believe Jos is the man we need.
lanzaroteowl
A win would buy him time until the January window. A draw will give him until before the Xmas games A loss would give him one more game For me he's not the one to sort things out and should have already been replaced
bigash_swfc
You can't doubt his achievements. With the circumstance he is trying to turn the ship around without the help of senior players, looks an impossible task. Whether bridges have been burnt from DC or Jos...you can not discard any player. Westwood, Boyd and Hutch would have been incredibly valuable tonight. Your probably right as i can't see there being many in a rush to take up season tickets to watch Jos style of play and that will be the thing that sways DC, money. WalthamOwl
Even if we do hopefully manage a win tonight we will then probably get very little return from the next 3 or 4 games. We all need a win tonight but imo it would just paper over the massive cracks. Nice bloke Jos but for me he isn’t the man to take us forward. CraigSGM
Regardless of the result, this weekend would be the best time to make the change to give whoever comes in a decent amount of time with the squad before the next game.
i used to be sc_owl
Unless we get absolutely hammered he will not be sacked even if we lose. It is going to be a repeat of Carlos - keep him until it’s already too late to salvage the season. Had we sacked Carlos after the derby at home last season, I still believe we could have made the play-offs.

Agree, anything less than a win and DC needs to act quickly. Even after a win I would advocate a change, but expect he would get another few games grace. Guest addedtime
Probably a point. If we win it will be 3, if we lose, then none.
S36 OWL
I just fear if we do get rid of Jos , DC will just run down the same path again and bring in another unknown forgien coach

We are a mid table side, should be finishing somewhere between 12th and 16th.

Pale Rider
I don't think he's sacked if we lose, in all honesty. An hammering might be different though.
