He's had stability here and has really enjoyed his football (judging by interviews and how he plays). It's no surprise to me he's stayed. He's the main man at Wednesday. Bannan, consistently one of our best players and Joao, a raw prospect wo has shown what he is capable of in spells but needs more consistency have now both signed new deals in what most of us seem to agree are troubled times for us financially. As you say, both could have walked away for nothing in a few months and few would have been surprised if this had have happened with seemingly better prospects elsewhere. The fact they have signed surely shows that something behind the scenes is going better than the information we have access to would suggest?
