Who is renewing season tickets?

Recommended Posts

No decision made yet...

Avoiding the conversation till we've had a couple of beers.

Then it's 'do you really think we had more fun in league one and we didnt have any responsibilites'

to 'when you pick and choose you make an effort to make a day out of it'..

so god knows yet

I think there will be a few thousand that feel ultra let down by DC, CC and the players and will choose not to. The fact remains that ST's are the best way to watch Wednesday regularly and the marketing policy of high prices on the day will mean that if you are planning to go more than 12 times, you'd be mental not to have a ST.

I unfortunately have spent all my savings on this season and can't afford to go next year, so hoping to take advantage of the community engagement scheme for 5/6 games and save up again for in a few years time, when hopefully we'll have a much improved season.

I'd guess we'll have 16k  - 17k ST's resulting in an average gate of 4K less, depending on whether we start winning again.

This last few months have been a drag, think I only missed the Burton game..'No trams at 2pm? Oh no i'll have to spend the day at home'..And in the taxi before the Brum game none of us wanted to go.

I'm sick of hearing Carlos this Carlos that, it's not his fault players got injured...he's ruined the squad

Now it's going to be Jos this Jos that.

And also my job inexplicably ended two weeks ago so depends how quick I find another one.

He'll renew now that he's seen the power of my argument.. FFS.

Coupled with the fact it's all a great mystery what might happen next season. Top end league one. Mid table Championship. Top end Championship. Mid table league one. Who honestly knows? Nobody.

We don't even know who might be manager. Who might be in the first XI or shipped out / brought in. Never a dull moment these days down at S6.

As Vic Reeves says on his music magpie advert;  Why wouldn't you?!

I imagine for the great majority of STH's how well we are doing or which league we are in are pretty secondary considerations.

We watch Sheffield Wednesday.

I have supported them, sometimes from a distance, since 1977.  Some years we've been great.  Other years dreadful.  Occasionally we have beaten expectations.  More often we have disappointed.  The main change is perhaps that here is no prospect of us ever being a really powerful club again, by which I mean competing with some consistency towards the top of the English league. But sadly that's true for a whole host of the big traditional names of English football.

I have sometimes thought what it would do to drive me away.  Probably the answer is sale to someone I really viewed as ethically disgusting.  The gruesome Mamadov had me twitching.

But there's nothing at the moment.  On the evidence available, Chansiri is ready to absorb losses, which are not particularly surprising to see incurred at this level.  It's possible we can now go through a rebuilding cycle melding the more promising younger players with ore experienced ones as they come back.  Clubs often follow a relegation campaign in this league with a credible assault on the play offs - and vice versa.  Or not.  It could be dire.

But there's never certainty.  "I object to the club so profoundly that I'm out" is a reasonable attitude.  "I won't buy an ST because I think we'll be useless" is a position I don't fully understand.

Got 1 year to go on the 3 year deal. Will renew but not sure whether for just the 1 year or more. I honestly think we could be anywhere next season - if we were in League 1 we could have a great season and off to Wembley again, we could be mid table Championship or even top end. We have no idea how Jos is going to work with the returning "stars". Going to be interesting at the very least.

Would you renew at these prices, if it’s league one fayre?

But it wont be.

You either support your club, whoever that might be, or you don't.

A Football club is for life, not just through the good times.

There's always Sky, BT or some other way, and then complain.

Yeah but season tickets are either bought or they aren't and the fans pay on the gate or stop going

If it was as a nailed on as you say we'd have sold out Hillsborough on season tickets alone

I've got 1 more season left on the last 3 year option... So.

1. I'm going for the 5 year option (which will give me a total of  6 years)!

2. I've recently seen my GP and requested that I be referred to specialist councillor / physiologist that will advise further on such issues..
