RichieB
The number 6 looks like he's going in 2 footed on his own player. They were hard back then. Ooo errr

The Night-Owl
Players had solid legs made out of concrete back then. Looks like a completely different game to now. Slightest contact now and players roll around crying feigning injury and brandishing imaginary cards about. Whilst fans and managers and their benches, scream for the opposition player to be sent off. Back then they didn't have big squads and multiple substitutes and played on through pain and injury. Weshallovercome
I give in and it's bugging me now, was bored at work today so did a bit of research into that photo, but came away with more questions than answers. What year was it?.... my guess is somewhere between 1955 and 62 going by our kit? Which ground?.....I'm pretty sure it's Goodison Park, but Everton only started playing in all white socks in 1967. Who are the 2 Wednesday players?........not a clue. HELP! Edited December 12, 2017 by Weshallovercome

I even remember the number 6 driving an invisible van joke from someone. Have I gone mad? Am I a time traveler? Did in my subconscious think if ever someone posts this photo in a kit thread I will use the van joke? Have I gone mad? Has Carlos finally sent me over the edge? What the f@cks going on? Quick call Mulder and Scully. Have I gone mad? AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH. FFS.
