TheEnchanter
It's all good people slagging his kicking off but a better keeper you don't really see at this level. Especially one who decides to play for us for 4 seasons and counting. He isn't immune from criticism but the daggers were in his back quickly last night. How can it help anyone improve unless they really deserve some stick e.g not pulling their weight in the team or never have.
fred mciver
Real man and quality footballer who can still relate to fans. O'Neil's a nutter. When new defence is fully match fit, will be brilliant.

asteener1867
Slippy ball , unsighted but yeah a mistake I suppose He doesn't make many Maybe we could check and see what Ola Tidman is up too? Instead I think I will accept KW's apology

james o connor
We all know he's a great keeper. Mistakes happen. He isn't the top premier league keeper some on here make him out to be but he's by and far the best we can get so I can overlook his poor kicking for everything else he brings

His distribution is shocking for a modern 'keeper. It's what stops him from playing at the highest level.

fpowl
Love this bloke. never needed to apologise. He's won us more points than the one goal he could take error for. thats easily forgot about WAWAW

Are you joking!? He made a mistake, yet we got the three points, and he's clearly the standout keeper in the league and has saved us season after season. Why the need for a pop?? So miserable mate... Last 10 minutes he kept hoofing the ball outfield, Brentford won the ball and went on the attack again and again and again.... His long ball distribution is very poor... Anything to have a pop at a player though.
shezzas left peg
Well said and if he's gonna drop a clanger or two during the season let's get em out of the way early and hopefully he'll be bang back on top form and flying righting time for the business part of the season. thewookieisdown
His distribution is generally poor with the odd inspired moment but the position hasn't always been helped by a central defence uncomfortable both on the ball and in making space and a midfield that can sit too deep and leads to us not being able to move the ball forward. Buxtongent
Credit due to Westwood , who has only gone further up in my estimation. Takes a MAN to admit to a mistake, which was not fully of his own making. One point to make over his 'kicking'. Look at the number of times when he looks to throw/roll the ball out to his backs/wingers, who seem to be a little behind in thinking. This would speed up our transfer from defence to attack. Kicking a long ball ACCURATELY to your own forwards is never easy, especially when they never seem to anticipate it. How many times do our defenders make long passes which go astray? And please bear in mind Tues night in particular, when the wind and rain were taking the ball all over the place.
mancowl08
And I don't think anyone has mentioned the world-class save he made in the first half when their striker went one on one ( looked offside but wasn't)
SiJ
The guy is one of the best signings this club has ever made. A keeper of his quality on a free transfer. Has been an outstanding servant. He is also batsh*t mad and completely wired. Love the bloke.
Steelman
Not that he has to make it up or apologise........... But if he wants to really make amends he could do a "Schumacher" on Billy Blunt next Sunday........
