I think most fans are already bored and fed up with it

I am for sure!this week has been a godsend, something to take away the drudgery of watching that turgid crap week in week out.hope he changes his tactics and we now play on the front foot but I won't hold my breath

Not an evening for controversy and that seemed suitably bland from the great man. You could imagine a glorious failure and obvious momentum where CC stays but more likely he would go at that point.  The more interesting question would be if we are midtable and not picking up in a few weeks.

On the basis that CC has done well in the main season the past two years and rather lese well in the play offs perhaps the best strategy is to change manager once the top six finish is bagged.  This isn't altogether a flippant suggestion.  (A few years ago Bristol rugby essentially acquired half a new team for the championship playoffs)

For me the message that came thru from nearly every player was that a good dressing room, with all the players getting on, along with all areas of the club (and fans) pulling in the same direction with togetherness was the most important component of success

There I was thinking it was winning games that was the most important component of success.

I found it interesting they said that after a bust up between Winnall and Forestieri and then FF going away with an 'injury'

Wednesday legend Chris Waddle thinks if the Owls don't go up this season then the fans might just have had enough of Carlos and his tactics.

Waddle told The Sheffield Star: “It’s Carlos’s third season and you can’t keep being the bridesmaid. Sometimes you have to say ‘this is it’. If Wednesday don’t go up this year, I think people are going to get a little bored and fed-up with it.”

Waddle also tipped the Owls for a top six finish but doesn't see Wednesday hitting the top two spots this season.

He said: “I would be surprised and very disappointed if they are not in the play-offs but I don’t see the top two looking at them. “I think they needed to make two or three key signings to go that extra level. Newcastle and Brighton did that last year but I don’t think Wednesday have. “There are about 10 or 11 teams in the league who can go up and I would definitely put Wednesday in that group. I think they have as good a chance as anybody else. “They just have to get a run going and keep everyone injury free and there is no reason they can’t go up.”

To late Chris, I lost faith after the play offs.
