I know we've faffed around with some insulting bids in the past but that can't be serious can it? That's got to be being misreported Might just be a bid we know won't be accepted but will unsettle the player and we get him cheaper
Mike Hunt
He has got 10 mths of his contract left I believe so odds are he will be leaving Now or in January , and they will probably get less in January .
Guest
We need to get into this deal, I reckon we've got a good chance and he's a tidy player
Adam Reachs left peg
Has been stripped of the captaincy at Brentford so would say he'll be on his way out this month ,to us maybe ?

Hang about, where have I said jump straight in with a bid like that? There is being sensible, and then there is taking the p1ss. We're known for messing around with transfer dealings, just look at the 'bid' we put in for Mulgrew. I'd imagine Brentford wouldn't even acknowledge a bid like that. It's insulting to the club and the player.

gurujuan
Seems daft that we are risking losing out by making insulting bids, when we went straight in with a huge offer for Adam Reach, even though the only other offer was £1-2m from Preston. It's like going from one extreme to the other. Having said that, if we could get him for under £4m, we will have done pretty well

0114
Dean would be a brilliant signing. Good age, leader at his current club and shouldn't break the bank. Wish we had made more signings like this.
LiamAP22D
I think we'll probably get him for about £3m in the end, if we are serious. that's a good deal for Brentford aswell considering his contract is up this coming year.

Owlinmad
I have it on good authority that Reading offered £1.2 million a few days ago. Also that Brighton are watching. Edited August 10, 2017 by Owlinmad
