Andre Gray would cost £25m. Have you got any brains, whatsoever?

Just now, parkerowl said:

He hasn't been so far,  but that's at Derby, he can't get promoted on his own.

He'd be the best center half at the club if he came here.

It's centre and he really wouldn't.  If he was any good, he'd have PL clubs after him.

Can't agree with this, steady Eddie, but nothing more

Normally I'd be pushing for Bidwell, as I have for the last two pre-seasons... But he's only recently moved to QPR and he had a poor season for them, so I think I'd avoid (can't believe I'm saying that).

-Jota or Andriya Zivkovic (loan) for that attacking right midfield place

-Hourihane or Jackson Irvine for midfield

-Really pacey wide player for the bench on loan, probably a prem youngster happy to be given 20 minute cameos initially

-New CB to partner Lees who can actually pass a ball forwards with less than 10 seconds of laboured dallying

-Sasso as 3rd/4th choice (we really should if we can)

-Maybe a new left back (again), or try and convert Reach there and hope for the best

Sorted... Kinda?

Irvine and Hourihane are completely different types of player.

irvine is closer to what we need but what's the point accumulating players who are the same as we currently have.

learn the lessons from last pre season

Did I say they were the same type of player?

So wait... is Irvine what we need, or the same as what we currently have? Make your mind up

I said as far back as August that our summer recruitment was poor... so it seems weird that you're criticising me for not "learning lessons" when I was ahead of most on voicing my opinion on what we were doing wrong

2/10, must try harder lol
