New manager

Recommended Posts

There is no one.  Unless you pluck some lesser known lower league hotshot, there are some real dire pickings of old retreads and useless failures.

And then there's Pearson.  His hardman routine is a tired laugh, but does he have anything left to give?  I'd say no.  This is the guy that would hardheadedly persist with his faves at LC (Nugent) and neglect talent.  Sound familiar?

Pearson

Probably would be the best option IF Chansiri did do something radical. People may forget Leicester's miraculous escape from relegation under Nigel the season before last. I think they won 9 of the last 11 games or something?

I'd only give him a contract till end of the season tho to start with

I want to continue remembering him as our captain raising that cup in 1991.

Danny Wilson was a hero in that team but now mostly remembered by many for his less than successful stint as our manager.

Its a no from me.

In some style as well. They weren't just grinding out results, they were putting other teams to the sword. And we all now what happened next season....... OK, he'd been moved on, but he put together the nucleus of a team that won the Premiership.

While I've repeatedly said we should keep Carlos for the rest of the season, if Big Nige was interested in taking over for the run in, I'd say go for it.

Daft as it sounds. Colin

We wouldn't be a soft touch that's for sure

....... And he seems to have the knack if turning things round quickly without spending loads. His anti Wednesday image us baloney. Just banter.

No chance of him coming here though

Pearson was my favourite Wednesday player in the late 80s/early 90s. Would I want him as manager? No. When you look back at that Wednesday side, none of them have gone on to have glittering managerial careers have they? Pearson, Wilson, Francis, Sheridan?

I just wondered who, if anyone, could get us promoted with only 8 league matches left, considering the mess we're in at the moment?

Carlos, which is a bonus because he's already our manager and we won't have to get a new one.

yes it was basically Nigel's team plus the amazing signing of Kante that won the league. He didn't do too well at Derby but then nobody seems to so I wouldn't take much notice of that.

Not calling for us to get him but Gary Megson certainly wouldn't have put up with some of the cowards that played tonight

Like when his team got battered at Stevenage you mean?

Megson is a yesteryear manager.

Modern players, rightly or wrongly don't react to his type of mangement.
