Delighted we snapped up David Jones his experience and nous in front of the back four will be invaluable in a long old season. The 26-year-old striker is desperate to end his Liverpool nightmare and has been told he may have to drop a division to resurrect his career, with Wolves and Port Vale possible destinations. The duo struck up a bond during their time at Inter Milan and, according to reports in Italy, the Liverpool outcast has turned to the 'Special One' with Mourinho recommending he leave the Premier League. Balotelli fell out with Roberto Mancini at Manchester City and failed to convince Brendan Rodgers or Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Klopp has made it clear that the forward has no future on Merseyside and most top clubs across Europe are wary of taking a gamble on the Italian international.
