ViolaOwls
Yes sorry we made a mistake, our coaching staff have bad English (abit like me) and made a mistake, but we rectified it as soon as a owlstalk member tweeted mr bullen. So whats the problem? get over it Edited April 12, 2016 by ViolaOwls
FlyingOwl
Can we be docked pts for it.or is it just wishful thinking by Cardiff We didn't get docked points for actually playing a match with 6 loanees a while back. One of the loanees even scored. Nor did Leeds when they did the same. We wouldn't get docked points when we rectified the situation in time. Maybe a warning, maybe a fine. latemodelchild
Really can't see why we would be punished. They've just asked for clarification on what happened is all. Remember, we went through it in real time and know what happened. They didn't so need to know that it was all ok. It does grate a bit though that they make a fuss about this but were silent on FF and his yellow cards. Suppose this is an easy one for em though. areNOTwhatTHEYseem
"As far as the conduct of matches go, the captain and manager of each team must hand copies of a list of names of players taking part in a match, including substitutes, to the referee and a reprensentative of the opponents in the presence of the referee in his dressing room at least an hour before kick-off." "After discovering their teamsheet error around an hour and a quarter before kick-off, Wednesday, occupying the final Championship play-off position with five matches remaining, left out Bennett and drafted in Jack Hunt." The fact that with over an hour to go until kickoff the initial error was rectified, suggests that we'll get away with a slapped wrist on this one. Dunkstar
Why should we even get a slapped wrist though? Surely the only thing the Football League shoukd be concerned with is that the correct 16 was with the match officials by the allotted deadline which it was by all accounts. What happened before that should be of no consequence to then. Yes it all seemed to be a bit shambolic and certainly its an embarrassing elementary mistake by someone at the club but in terms of the rules there was no wrongdoing so I really dont see what the Football League are following this up in such a public manner. ViolaOwls
Nuhui was playing from the start, see page 4 on matchday thread. It wasn't a prediction my line up it was from a HP sauce down at the club from info on the Thursday. Cant help injuries/sickness that happen inbetween. Can also confirm that no player fall out ever happened Was a first offence even logged as it didn't happen in the part of it was changed well before hand? F.a may seek a answer, but was there even anything to really answer? Edited April 12, 2016 by ViolaOwls

southportdc
Everyone's focused on the hour and a quarter before kickoff bit. Maybe there's a rule which says once it's handed in it can't be changed except through injury?

Should any nominated Player or substitute sustain an injury or become otherwise incapacitated after the submission of the Team Sheet to the Referee and before the kick-off, he may be replaced; the Referee shall be informed. Should there be any other extenuating circumstances which require a nominated Player or substitute to be replaced during the aforementioned period, the Referee shall allow such replacement and report the full circumstances to The League. Doesn't appear to be in that bit - nothing about amending it (or not amending it) at all except for injuries. F off FL.
