Jowl
If Loovens doesn't resign he'd be fine alongside Lees. Id go with this. Or as a backup to loovens / lees
Blue and white
In general our team lacks leadership and height. And that's just the manager/head coach.

happy bunny
I'd be more than happy with Roger Johnson, between him Loovens and Lees we would have a very solid back three to choose from
darra
As third choice centre back we could do worse. He'd have to take a massive wage drop thoug. I'm not saying we can't afford his wages, but not for a back up player. Could be he's thinking less wages is better than no wages.
PeteG_1984
Would be good cover at the back but if he's still on high wages I'd be surprised as us spunking them on one of our strongest areas on the pitch
SiJ
Nah. I know he did quite well when on loan here a year or so ago..but he's barely played in last two or three years.
Paddyowl
Call me a snob but I thought we'd be thinking a bit better than Roger Johnson.
Guest Nick White
Why would Liam Palmer know? Does he have Gray' and Roder's ear on these matters?
gurujuan
Don't think he'd come here as cover, and quite frankly, if that's all it was, I'd rather it was someone younger. I liked Roger Johnson here, but would only consider him again if Loovens leaves
prowl
He was good for us when he was here. Coming to the end of his career so might accept a wage cut. We could do worse. I accept we all want young up and coming players but an older head is no bad thing particularly if he is a leader. At the right salary he would be a decent signing but I wouldn't over pay. mogbad
Call me a snob but I thought we'd be thinking a bit better than Roger Johnson. Wouldn't disagree with that. While I thought he did ok for us I'd hope we'd be looking at something better or of an age where we can expect improvement rather than decline. Salmonbones
Now this is a big leap, because i'm comparing an ex England player of massive stature and the two players are quite apart in many terms, not least the level these two players had their relative high points of their career, but in our current position in the second tier it's a good comparison. I remember us signing Viv Anderson and thinking WTF does this fossil have to offer our side? I was totally wrong. I would not see Johnson as a bad signing. Mike Hunt
How long was he a Charlton for ? I like RJ his lack of pace is a concern though especially as he is getting toward the end of his career
