Maple Staple
Have to agree, anyone who can make the opposition fall for the same free kick routine 5 times in a row in a single game ....... definitely has a place in history. HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
Best Sheffield Wednesday left back of all time? Best one in my lifetime, but then I don't remember Don Megson. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Neal M
What Hootie said. From the film I've seen, and the reports I've heard from older fans, DEFINITELY Megson. But of the left backs I've seen in the flesh, Worthington. I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.

Ibbo48
Been watching since 1960. Undoubtedly the only 2 outstanding left backs we've had in all those years. Different sort of players so hard to compare. Seem to remember Don being much more defensive than Worthy. When he and Kingy were at the top of their game they were an amazing pairing
