Ian Fleming
Alan Simonsen for Charlton in about 82. He was a former European footballer of the year and somehow Charlton managed to sign him while in the 2nd tier. Absolutely ripped us to shreds in the 1st half but we ended up winning 5-4 after being 4-1 down. Only stopped at Charlton for a dozen or so matches but was a brilliant player..

Big Fish
Few players from times gone by when I saw their name and thought we're fooked today if they're on it 80's - Ian Rush / Graeme Sharp 90's - Jurgen Klinsmann / Stan Collymore 00's - Steve Howard / Kevin Doyle / David Friio 10's - Anthony Knockaert / Yann Kermogant 20's - Anyone who is over 6'0'' and half decent in the air from attacking set pieces Edited January 9, 2022 by Big Fish

nevthelodgemoorowl
On the day I think we beat Everton 5-1 93/94 season but the performance and power of Duncan Ferguson was awesome. Everton were the one trick pony that day, it didn't work but Ferguson sweated blood for the cause. I would have taken him in a heart beat as part of a more varied strategy. Can't remember who their manager was at the time.

It would not surprise me if he only played against us once so short was his career. steelerian
Fear? Kanchelskis, Ian Wright, Alan Shearer. Also Lars Bohenan seemed to score for fun against us for some bizarre reason.
MBMitchell
Peter crouch always seemed to score against us I hated Mickey Thomas, but that might have come from my dad saying he was dirty Graeme sharp was the start of all the broken hearts Wednesday have caused me Ian Wright I hated him, but liked him ever since Hirstys testimonial Kevin Phillips as said above several times Schemical (sp) hated facing this brick wall
