Their goal

Recommended Posts

A good example of 3 errors lead to a goal

Hutch gets old manned to allow space for the thrower to receive the ball

Palmer inexplicably loses his discipline and breaks or own defensive line leaving a gaping hole for no reason. Then stops and walks as per usual

BPF goes full Ola Tidman

If anyone of those three do their job that goal doesn’t happen.

It was a poor goal to concede but wouldn’t have mattered so much had we scored the penalty.  I think there must be a self destruct button on the Wednesday bench or something that someone keeps accidentally pressing!

And the penalty wouldn't have mattered had we taken the chances Gregory missed and the header that Berahino missed

Goal keeping error, he should have held it. Plain and simple.

All keepers make errors, it's about reducing them to a minimum. That's 2 in 2, maybe 3 in 2 because one of the other Plymouth goals looked like the keeper could have done better.

Still the best we've got but he needs to get his act together or Wildsmith might need to have a couple of games to focus BPF's mind. Maybe just letting him know he needs to perform at his best to keep his place will give him a wake up call.

Honestly, if we find ourselves in that position, we are in trouble.

I genuinely struggle to think of any time where a team keeps chopping and changing the keeper where it ends well.

More often than not, it means neither keeper is really up to it.

It is still not clear to me after watching that whether Bowman got a touch on the initial cross.

The 'clanger' is us allowing Bowman a free header from 3 yards out.

He's got Dunkley in front of him and Iorfa behind him, neither marking him.

Because any kind of touch from Bowman on a cross like that, even just glancing it 5 cm and BPF has absolutely no time to react.
