Can see why they didn’t show the back of the home shirt in the Kit launch. The white back looks odd without name or number. Will probably detract from fan sales for that reason but will look better in the match setting with name and number. Way back we had stripes back and front with red numbers. That would be a better solution to making the numbers visible , but black shorts look great.

Away shirt is a very good looking one but it’s pink .

Easy solution here

Sell a main version to the fan base that has full stripes on the back

and those fans who want names and numbers get the “pro” kit with the white square

That away shirt is epic. It's going to be up there with the greatest away kits for me. My number one has to be the yellow away kit from the 1991 season.

I've put like on the home shirt but can't help thinking the stripes are a little too narrow. It's a nice kit but reminds me of Brighton a bit.

Brighton lol

I like both kits. The away one is different, and should be as it’s the change kit, it shouldn’t stick to one colour every season for me. We may have blue numbers on the back of the home, but red would look good as well. No issue having some red on the kit!

I mean we've had red on the home kit, numbers and the Sanderson logo. Just find it a bit pathetic all this dummy spitting about the colour.

Not exactly a rarity...

Football shirts change every year what decides if i buy it is the price. £40ish a shirt then yes £60+ no.

the best shirt i every got was the 94/95 Sanderson shirt but equally that when i think we had the best team before David Pleat ripped the team up and filled it with defenders.

The goalie kit with black shorts and socks..or green shorts and socks I can handle.

Still not fond.

The home kit looks like a forgary of Brighton's from an Asian market stall.

I can't stand the pink one because I don't like the colour.

It all looks cheap and nasty to me.

The 90-91 sponsorless away shirt was a beauty: I'm still sore about losing my replica in the late 90s. The new home shirt's stripes are all wrong - everyone's said Brighton but I keep thinking Wigan for some reason. I do like the new away shirt but I'm not frightened of pink like some on here...

Actually, having read this post, I've changed my mind.

I thought I liked the away kit, but it's impossible to argue with logic like this.

It's amazing that people can get quite so outraged at this kind of thing. Babies wearing pink is nothing more than a social convention. As pointed out elsewhere, it used to be the colour for boys but just like that went the other way. We even had someone in another thread saying they "couldn't express in words my disappointment" about the plain back. It's just a design aspect of a football shirt that will be replaced twelve months from now. If you don't like it, say "oh well" and go back to your day. Hardly like they put a giant Blades badge on the front is it?
