We also needs options in the squad. If Hunt is rightback / wingback with Palmer as backup, then we have good cover there, but Palmer could also step across to the left or even slot in as one of a back three if needed.

At present, our squad looks very thin.

This

If we had a wealth of players to choose from, then, go ahead.slag him off..... we haven't  He has his faults. But i'd sooner have a squad member to put on ther pitch than play a forward at right back

I think this could be a sensible bit of business if it materialises. He offers experience and affords Moore some flexibility in that he could either send one of the youngsters out on loan or  ‘cash in’ on Palmer. Obviously, I don’t think we’d get loads for Palmer, but maybe £250-350k?

You can’t pick and choose when players become available so I’m not in the we need a striker first camp. Still, if there’s an offer from Cardiff then surely he’ll go there based on location to the club he’s leaving and may not need to up sticks completely.

Jack hunts owls record 80 league games, 0 goals, 6 assists not exactly the attacking talent some on here make him out to be.

He was an awful defender, who spent most of this time out of position, we got caught so often on the right side with him in the team, when he did get forward most of the time his delivery was awful as can be see by his only 6 assists or 1 every about 12 games. I still remember when we play the blades are he got the ******** taken out of him for 90 minutes from a 19 year old winger called Brooks, he got megged about 3 times in that game.

Its a no from me, will add little to the team other than another high wage which we cannot afford.
