Guest Kagoshimaowl
I’ve just seen on the Football League link that we are in talks to sign him on a free transfer. Bit surprised myself as I’m not sure we need a right back. Any thoughts? PS: sorry, wasn’t sure how to add the link
OxonOwl
Palmer at left back, Hunt at right.
Broomhill Owl
No thanks, we need full backs who can cross the ball and score a few goals.
Popular Post wilfsmith
It reminds me of Sunday league teams where you phone round the group of mates you’ve played with before to see if they ‘fancy a game on Sunday’. 9
Dutch McLovin
While he is still a improvement on Palmer there is much bigger need in other areas of the squad like at least two CF's and a keeper. That said he'd be one of the best full backs in this league and it would mean that we could finally get rid of Palmer. He left on good terms and always put in the effort. 3

Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem
I'd take him if we'd stayed in the Championship. In League One, it's an absolute no-brainer. He's a cut above our current options.
wednesdaywizard
The lynchpin. It all went to pot when he was sold. I'd be happy to see him back. 1

Owls77
Although not the right age, he is too good for L1 so would be a shrewd signing.

Barnsleyowl1996
As I posted in another thread , got to remember that We only have Palmer as experienced on that right side , dawodu only just coming through etc . Palmer can play left back so IF we get hunt it would be hunt n Palmer on the right with brown and galvin left . Dawodu can continue to develop , maybe play odd cup game or even go on loan
@owlstalk
Hang on Hang on... Stop the thread for a moment.. For those saying it’s a no brainer can you explain it please? When he was here last time everyone slated him When he left everyone was mocking how bad he was at his new club So how is he now a no brainer?? 5 2 Owlstalk Shop
Popular Post One De Bilde
People are seriously saying they wouldn't have Hunt back!? Think they need a reality check about where we are as a club and who we can attract. This would be a fantastic signing for League 1. 14

From my point of view; I like Hunt and didn't slate him when he was here. I didn't mock him at Bristol City. A no brainer for me. 33
