SWFC to re-sign Jack Hunt

Solid Championship defender, which his last three seasons at BC show. I'd be surprised to see him dropping down to L1, but he might want to come back North. Always liked Hunt; had the odd moment whilst trying to get forward, but that's why you have three behind him sweeping up - we tended to have Loovens and Lees who where hardly pacey cover.

He's 9 months older than Palmer so don't think measuring age between the two is an issue.

For those saying it’s a no brainier can you explain it please?

When he was here last time everyone slated him

When he left everyone was mocking how bad he was at his new club

So how is he now a no brainier??

Who was slating him last time? Who was then mocking how bad he was?

genuinely don’t remember this.

With a few champ interested too I would be surprised if we managed to get it over the line but we shall see

Depends what's on offer. A championship club might only offer him signing as cover whereas we might offer him a start every or most games

Cant see it happening Palmer has rb spot with Dawodu coming through pointless wasting budget

Palmer is too hit and miss and Dawodu is still an unknown

This feels more like an Att Chansiri signing than a Darren Moore signing to me.

Right back isn't a weak area for us. Palmer is proven at this level. If the budget is limited then we should strengthen elsewhere first but of course we have no idea what wages this will ocupy.

I see we are now back in that alternative reality where

1) Nobody every slated Jack Hunt when he was here

2) Nobody every celebrated how badly he played for his new club when he left us

3) There were no 'good riddance he was rubbish anyway' type posts when he left

4) He is a 'no brainer' just because he used to play for us

5) He's years older than he was when he was here but that's ok too

Foooooook ME

The human race has lost all perspective and reality these days

Nowadays it's just 'nah we never slated him, always liked him, he'd be great here, and it doesnt matter that he's a lot older'

Baffling

It doesn't have to be one extreme or the other.

It wasn't true that 'everyone' slated him and mocked him; nor was it the case that 'nobody' ever criticised his performances.

The reality is probably somewhere in the middle.

Expect no less.

For me, being critical, he has got a mistake in him and has the occasional rush of blood, but he is pretty solid and a hard worker who can still shine for us remembering we are in league 1. Every time I say that it hurts.

And we are off.

Good signing. DMs sorted it. At last the manager is choosing the signings

Signing you don’t like. Fecking  chansiri and his kid listening to Paxo again.
