I'll start us off. Mark Beevers. Came onto the scene as a promising academy prospect. Attracted some attention from big clubs but after a couple of decent seasons it just fizzled out. We desperately need somebody whose job it is is to sit and look at our players, find out if the right time is to sell them and either make it happen, or make everyone aware of any risk financially if we decide to keep them and they either go for a pittance or run down their contract. Scandalous. To make money on players you have to find a buyer. Nobody would have ever bought Abdi or Jones from us. Lees was given a huge 5 year deal on big money which priced him out of a move. And some of them become worth more ability wise to you than the fees you’d get, especially in that 29-32 age bracket. Difficult. Worth noting Gary Hooper was attracting interest that December from palace and Brighton before his hip went bang at Forest after a great scoring spell.
