Points deduction incoming for Rotherham?

Recommended Posts

Football is a farce isn’t it. Hate point deductions. Just let points be decided on the pitch, makes a mockery of the game...certainly would NEVER be allowed in the Premier League.

Transfer bans, fines etc but point deductions is just too much and too frequent these days.

Why would they get a points deduction for isolating following positive covid tests?

That's exactly my thoughts.

They've postponed games IIRC 4 times certainly 3. Not very good is it when other teams are managing to stay Covid safe. Like I said in another thread very convenient for them to get Saturday's game postponed especially after the played with 10 men against us. Had a nice rest before playing another important game.

The Coventry postponement causes a reyt fixture congestion for them.  As it stands there are no midweek slots available.  They could end up playing Monday Wednesday Friday Sunday to catch up on missed games

There's nothing to suggest they've done anything untoward at this point though, is there?

Where has talk of a points deduction come from?

They have postponed a few games due to this. Rearranged their game v Brentford to 27th April which could be quite convenient for them if Brentford have already secured a play off spot by that point.
