I also didn’t get why Kachunga didn’t take it. I just don’t get why Kachunga?

Kew Owl
I think the less said about the corner the better, but he’s not the only person that’s taken crap corners for us during this season

Chairman, advisors, coaches (Not including the Darren Moore and new staff), and players. So yes we need to rid this club of all the failures (and they have proven to be that) and start again. We have too many players that are self-hyped, pundit hyped, that haven't given this club anything back. I think that a certain type of player - up and coming (lower league, possibly young released from PL) - 'wants to succeed' - an already established player from the higher leagues very rarely gets better, and just drops through the leagues as they get worse. The lower league players are cheaper also. We need to stop signing journeymen who have constantly failed, or not proven themselves elsewhere. Unfortunately our neighbours have done it successfully. Bolton have continued with Plan A. Pundits last night kept harping on about how good our squad was and the fact it just needed confidence, and comparing our array of decent subs to Rotherhams, hyped up all over the pitch. Can't they or anyone in the media see it for what it is, or is it only the fans can see what a load of trollop they are. For years now every time we lose you can guarantee thread after thread saying the players dont try, dont care, are stealing a wage etc etc. It's always time for a clear out. And when the new players come in, they are soon on the clear out list too. The truth is we have a mismatched squad of poor players who have been passed from manager to manager. Is it any wonder they haven't got a clue what they are doing. This is the 4th manager of the season, with new instructions, tactics etc. We would have won last night if we had recruited a semi competent striker. As usual the blame should be on the incompetent running of the club rather than individual players who are generally just not good enough or poorly coached or poorly recruited and utilised. 1

SiJ
Couldn't care less about how "sorry" he is. The guy has been complete waste of space since he got here. More often than not when he does get on, he strolls around thinking his Pirlo and is in fact completely and utterly useless. That corner last night was so bad. He hit it with the intensity and power of a 7 year old. Less said about the defending afterwards the better.

Lucas Joao's Tooth
People just looking to pin the blame on someone because quite rightly so everyone is frustrated and fed up of this now Yes the corner was dreadful, Bannan does one every game But we had a couple of chances to make a tactical foul and stop them and we didn't Then Harris' defending was all over the shop, needed to show him wider instead stood off him and allowed Ladapo too much room and he curled it. Wildsmith's positioning was also poor.

Dele Bashiru and Brown are signed from Man City and Chelsea respectively. Windass you would say is a 'hungry' player who wants to succeed. They fit your profile. They just lack quality and confidence. And of course, 4 out of the 11 last night were home grown - Wildsmith, Palmer, Penney, Shaw. Should we scrap the youth set up? 1) If the youth set up isn't producing decent enough players, then yes, it needs to be reviewed, overhauled, or scrapped. When was the last time we got a decent amount of money for a 'home grown' player? 2) Brown and Marriot aren't our players. Their contracts belong elsewhere, upon our failure they will return to their clubs. 3) Dele-Bashiru, hasn't been given a decent chance. 4) Windass does look ok for League 1. 5) 4 out of the 11 last night were home grown - they also (bar Shaw who is potentially moving on) aren't good enough and are League 1 players. They should have been released and replaced some time back as - in your words - they lack quality. Why are we keeping players that lack quality, and not looking for better? It's empty and hollow. I'd be saying the same from any of these players. We all see what is going off on that pitch - they're a pathetic, spineless bunch of losers, every single last one of them. No guts, minimal quality and zero intelligence. 1

Exactly - some times these pundits just 'big up' their mates - Paul Merson "Wednesday will definitely stay up under Pulis" - what a load of testicles, just bigging up his mate.
