Good to see Abraham, Bowen and Tomori getting call ups.

The two ex Chelsea lads have been smashing it over in Italy.

I'm happy we've ditched Watkins, Calvert-Lewin and Bamford ..none of those three are good enough.

Tammy Abraham has done really well for Roma in a very challenging environment.

Same for Tomori, no comparison between him playing for the serie A champions and Maguire stumbling around the car crash that is Man Utds squad.

Quite.

Serie A might not be once was, but it still produces great defenders.

Maldini raves about Tomori!

And bagging nearly 20 goals in that league is some effort. Abraham deserves huge credit for his first season.

Also think about the clubs they are playing for, the level of expectation.

AC Milan and Roma are bigger clubs than three quarters of the PL. Heck, I'd put AC Milan, historically, above everyone bar Liverpool and Man U.

James Maddison should be in this squad  , no doubt about it , that night in the casino has turned out very expensive hasn`t it.

Southgate seems very stubborn , I`m still not sure he REALLY wants Grealish in his squad but probably thinks the outcry isn`t worth the hassle.

Nope.

Maddison doesn't suit how England play.

F*ck me - what a debate that would be - Europe's top 10 clubs - not for here obvs

Manu and Liverpool deffo - ditto Barca and Real - also AC Milan and Juve...

But anyway...

England...

Strange one rally because some of our players have had - lets say - a less than vintage season

Interesting to see if their England form holds as it has done

Emails being sent out this week about who received what in their ticket applications for WC, via FIFA.

We got 2 tickets for every England game, up to & inc final, except the 3rd group game.

This was the only match oversubscribed by the England supporters club, due to the British derby potential, but there's still chance of getting tickets for that, opposition pending. Sweaties play Ukraine tomorrow with winner playing Wales in the decider on Sunday. Ukraine would free up most spare tickets, Wales the next lowest demand, but the jocks would probably sell all theirs. See what happens this week.

Cost for 12 tickets equates to £200 per person, per match / round. A bit steep for group games, but not bad for R16 / QF / SF & especially a WC final. Fingers crossed.

One of the most exciting generations of England footballers with the most boring manager at the helm!

Can’t agree with that .

We have been a pen shoot out and extra time from winning the euros and getting into the WC final .

These games - if I were any of those England players I would be going through the motions.
