The Humble Club - Abhorrence Of Arabia

All good players obviously but City bring 2 players back for their first games following a lay off (Walker and Laporte) and leave out Stones and Cancelo who have been very impressive of late.

De Bruyne and Aguero injured and they left Sterling, Maghrez and Rodri on the bench.

Pigs looked solid but there was obviously only one winner

City controlled the game from start to finish

TBF it will probably be one of the hardest 3 points city will get at home all season

Wilder is making them hard to beat

Lost 17 of 21 league games.

Man City failed to beat West Brom at home last month.

City absolutely coasted to that win.

Barely got out of second gear.

Fair play

Funny how when we played Man City last year with Monk's squad at rock bottom confidence and barely laid a glove on an arguably stronger City side (Aguero, Mahrez, David Silva, Rodri, Stones, Mendy played against us) they said we were cowardly.

Yet when they do the same with a £23.5m striker and put a bit of pressure on for 5 minutes (after replacing said £23.5m striker with a humble £20m one), they're "proud". That's pigonomics.

And yet more records broken in this amazing season, they're going to need a bigger honours board.

Norris McWhirter and Roy Castle's second favourite club.

Sheffield United have scored just one goal in their 10 Premier League matches against City (D3 L7), the fewest goals ever scored by a team in their first 10 Premier League games against an opponent.

Sheffield United have now lost 20 of their past 24 Premier League matches (W2 D2), seven more than any other side in this timeframe (since July 16 last year).

This was Sheffield United's eighth 1-0 defeat in the Premier League this season, the joint-most ever by a side at this stage (after 21 matches) of a top-flight season, along with Ipswich Town in 1985-86.

Proud, though.

Pep left this lot on the bench and still won with 75% possession.

Pep didn't literally invent football. Unless he's a lot older than he looks.

I hate comments like that.

Well done Pigs by the way on this humblest of defeats. In their minds it probably counts as a win, so congrats to them.

Had a look on this guys Twitter feed, he is a Liverpool fan so think he was being sarcastic about the money City have spent. Seems to have got a sore lip because his team aren't dominating all before them as he expected.

My piggy mate said they were poor, happy to not get a whooping

Was told the same. In one 10 or 15 minute spell they had 8% possession.
