Fabinho’s shin takes out the attacker in the same motion he plays the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch and it’s a Free kick. It was a penalty though? Maybe it’s not VAR, or the Refs at fault, maybe it’s the rules? Referees can only implement what they’re told to implement.
