Jiminez with a fractured skull.

Wonder if he will come back from that or not. Petr Cech had to start wearing a skull cap after he fractured his skull and Ryan Mason ended up retiring.

The fact David Luiz was allowed to carry on playing is embarrassing. The concussion test in football is still a joke. Was it last year where Spurs had Vertonghen go back on despite the fact he could barely stand on his own two feet?

Young foreign manager who played for them for a bit. He's got a while yet til he gets the bullet

"Young", "hungry", "got something to prove", "not a dinosaur".

Where have I heard those words before?

lol

If you're those things you don't start out at Hillsborough or the Emirates.

You take a job at Exeter and learn your trade.

Watkins clearly offside for the goal however, Ogbonna clearly has an arm around the throat of Watkins prior to to ball being struck. Why’s that not a penalty?

I said same... Given as a free kick 99 out of 100 outside the box, not even worthy of looking at inside. Imagine it might have been different if it were Rashford being manhandled.

VAR doesn't eliminate the bad decisions. All it does is gives them another excuse to look over something and get it wrong, having spent several minutes pouring over footage and drawing stupid lines on the pitch.

Absolutely hate the thing.

Needs kicking into touch, trouble is VAR would probably rule it's still in play@

VAR as a concept is fine.

It’s the absolute clowns implementing it that’s the issue.

Get rid of VAR and, you still have the same idiots.

2 arms round the throat isn’t a clear and obvious error but, a player being offside by 10mm is?

We need to stop checking EVERYTHING.

Cricket accepts that the umpires job is hard and, that they may get decisions wrong.

The appeal system works absolutely fine. Why not implement the same in football?

Agreed. Keep all decision making with the ref, use VAR only for appeals. Allow each team one appeal per half, appeal upheld then you retain it. Appeal rejected then no more appeals.

If the officials get a major decision wrong and, you’ve got no appeals left, it’s your own fault for wasting you 2 initially.

Can’t understand why it was never looked at in this way. There were never 100’s of huge errors every week. There were a handful.

We’re now seeing more scrutiny because they’re trying to referee every little situation. 3 seasons ago, would anyone really have argued if the referee didn’t give the Welbeck penalty V Liverpool?
