Rhubarb n Custard
Carlos was a moment in time. Mostly a good one. It may have gone sour at the end but can't help but like the guy and remember the good times he brought.

So how was he a one season wonder? How close have we got to promotion since?

Not sure what ill defined roles you speak of, but I know we had a squad really struggling with injuries and missed some key players, just like Brighton did the season before that people like to forget when we played them.

Who was it that threw away the game at Huddersfield, then in the 2nd leg did not have the authority over the players to name the penalty takers?. Like I said, a one season wonder.

There was nothing unusual about the way we approached that penalty shootout. No manager would ever force a player to take a penalty if they were really low on confidence. Again, I think you should re-consider who you put the blame on. 38 minutes ago, adelphi1867 said: Like I said, a one season wonder. A few converted penalties away from matching the achievement of the 'one season wonder'...

Bassetts Allsorts
I like the bloke and he didn't do a bad job, but he doesn't half bang on about how he 'nearly' reached the Premier League with us, ignoring the fact that we spent millions while trying to do so! If you think about it more you could consider our injury crisis and the effect that had on our performance and the options available to us.
