Up to the run of poor results Dawson was growing in confidence & commanding his area but the poor run seems to have have shot his confidence with his decision making & kicking suffering in particular. From reports on here Wildsmith is struggling in U23 matches so I think we can probably discount him at the moment for a first team are start. I'd normally say Westwood needs to be brought back in but why hasn't he been on the bench? Initially we were told he had a slight shoulder strain but Monk said a few weeks ago that he was fit. If Monk has fallen out with Westwood then he needs to eat a bit of humble pie & bring him back in. If Westwood has refused to sit on the bench or been a disruptive influence then he can feck right off & we'll have to stick with Dawson, get behind him & accept that as a young keeper he's going to make mistakes that will impact on his confidence. How he answers would then be up to him I suppose but as loyal fans I would hope we deserved some explanation even if it’s something akin to ‘that’s between me and the player’.
