cowl Posted January 25, 2020 Share Posted January 25, 2020 Very good tonight, and the only one who showed any acceptable level of commitment on Saturday. Away I think he's probably always good for a start in central midfield. At home though, I'm less convinced; but then again, Monk's still to find a formula for the home games that actually works, so maybe we'll still find a way of making it work. In all fairness to him, he's actually quite positive on the ball even though his natural game is defensive, and the 60 yard forward passes he's wont to make have a pretty healthy hit rate. I know we’re reasonably covered there but he’s less likely to get booked / injured there. Obviously not this season but maybe him as part of a back 3 could be interesting.
