Then you would probably end up broke; both financially and mentally, and everyone would still assume you did the crime anyway.

Poor man management this has been. Should have simply accepted the ban and he'd now be available. Could have been accepted in such a way that we publicly and privately support FF.

Why should he accept charges if he feels he was not guilty? His good name means more to him than just rolling over and taking a ban.

Don’t know what’s the biggest joke... the fact that the appeal was denied or the fact that we actually appealed and still left him out for first 6 games! Would have been back now. Very poor....

Was going to post same pal , but then obviously the player doesn't want it on his character c v

I just don't understand the player or the club on this one, appeals are very rarely won, he has barely played a game in the first 7 why did we not take the ban on the chin and he would be playing now instead we lose him now for 6 league games.

Presumably the cup games don't count. unless someone can clarify if we get to the next round of the cup is he banned from Everton and a n other.

So he's been fined £50,000 and banned for the equivalent of a fifth of a season in total for losing his rag in a pre-season friendly. Meanwhile cheating feckers like Mitrovic get off scot free.

Have to say it defies belief that no retrospective action was taken after his antics at Huddersfield were there for all to see. Definitely a case of bringing the game into disrepute.

I'm inclined to agree, but if he accepts the charge its almost an admission of guilt.

He had no choice but to appeal, even though there was absolutely zero chance the useless FA were going to change their minds.

It was Forestieri’s call to make and no one else. Anyone is his shoes was always going to appeal.

Just to point out though that being found not guilty does not make him innocent

Because it is about his reputation and a matter of principle

would you be upset if you are called a liar and a racist as a result - when a Court of Law has not proven you guilty. Indeed the case is not too dis - similar to Firminho who gets away with it with more evidence against him

But the FA upholding the case only makes him guilty on very spurious evidence and balance of probabilities of one persons word over another - with no independent witnesses

But we all know the EFL and the FA are a complete joke how many times in the last 10 years have we won an appeal for anything.

I understand him standing up for his name but he was always going to lose the appeal. Lets hope we don't miss him or lose other key players he would have played instead of.
