Steve Bruce favourite for Newcastle job

That’s that then. No way back for him now imo. Was keeping an open mind but for me that’s done, him and the other 2 Steve’s can fizz off to Newcastle and will deserve every bit of abuse they get from the geordies.

having said that how many of us would turn down a job offer that pays us 300/400% more that our present salary?

He will and has said he will be taking a pay cut at newcastle...though he admitted bonus payments are very generous. I don't think he will be hitting the bonus payment targets...

If Newcastle do stump up, with the £6m compo plus his wages it will dwarf what Ashley offered their last manager to stay.

Ash thought he could get him for nowt......

Wot a mistaker to maker.

Newcastle may be a bigger club than Sheffield Wednesday ...

but Steve Bruce isn’t bigger than Sheffield Wednesday

We move on, with a Chairman who isn’t getting taken for a mug by the PL

Don't he'll be at Stocksbridge either.

Lincoln is clearly the main game for the team/club; a chance to see how preparations and fitness are coming on before they go to Germany.

For Bruce and his entourage not to be there is almost a dereliction of duties - poor if true.

Couldn't care less about the Stocksbridge game.
