Liam Palmer has been a revelation this season.

All the talk at the back end of last year was about how we needed to replace the 2 fullbacks, and he has come on to have his best season for us.

Especially the latter half of the campaign, license to get forward and support attacks has shown he is probably not as one dimensional as we maybe had him down for.

Hector has also done exceptionally well as a loanee, Fletcher has been the pick of the strikers. Reach in midfield has been steady if not spectacular.

Lots of worthy praise for Palmer.

Was very inconsistent in the first half of the season but strangely turned it all around in the second half and has been excellent.

Surely just a coincidence that this happened when jos left and our best players were reinstated? Amazing isn't it how having the best players on the pitch can help others exceed. Who'd have thought it.

Hector for me,hes gone from strength to strength as the seasons wore on,had a few shaky moments,rotherham leaps to mind,that apart hes been very reliable and consistent level of performance.

Comming up close behind is Palmer,Ive never been a big fan but hes been solid and equally consistent since we changed manager,EVEN when played on the wrong side for him,hes still turned that level of consistency that every club needs and Ive found myself praising the guy after almost every game,which is what I wanna do for every player every game,but thats just not been the case this season,especially the early part.

Does seem to show that people aren't having any false memory syndrome that the current vote is more or less in sync. with how the weekely voting went.

Though you do wonder whether Hutchinson and Westwood might have challenged had they not been in the Phantom Zone for half the season...

Went for a young un, cos most of the usual suspects are either loan or older players some of whom didn't play until the last few months and yes I know some were also frozen out.
