Unfortunately like me you have to be knocking on a bit to remember this. However in those days we were in division 3 and strapped for cash. Come to think of it wer'e heading for the same division now and guess what our Chairman has spunked all the cash. I'll have a rethink. Yep were going in the same direction fast and not far off being in one of the worst states I ever seen us in.

We still have half a season to turn it around. You might feel worse if the thinkable happens this season. It will not be turned around with this man running the team. DJMortimer
Football fans are constantly saying that [insert recent event] is the worst thing ever. As a consequence, it rather becomes like white noise after a while, regardless of any actual merit it might have. It's difficult to believe that anyone genuinely believes this is the worst time to be a Wednesday fan given some of what we've had to suck up even in just the last few years, never mind casting the net further back. Owl Be Back
Couldn't care less any more if I'm being brutally honest. I didn't like the things Chansiri did when he bought the club but remained quiet due to the performance of the team and the style of football, assuming the purchases would not put the club's future in jeopardy. However, since then the playing/support infrastructure for the first team has gone downhill and this coupled with the crappy business management of the club and the disconnection with the city and people and fans has just left me feeling empty and completely disconnected with SWFC. What's worrying is I'm not really sure this will change as I see nothing in Chansiri to point to any kind of improvement. So, yeah, just can't be arsed with it. Merry Christmas everyone!

People can do the usual and say ‘be grateful remember the Allen days, remember when Irvine was in charge’, truth is I feel more disillusioned and disconnected from this club than ever before. Its garbage in every aspect. It's only football. It really isn't life or death. Enjoy it for what Football is, don't build your life around it. This kind of mess, it's inevitable at Wednesday in this rigged game we currently have in English football. We'll have success again one day, but I can't gaurentee what level. Overpriced, empty luxury boxes, little fan engagement. You see, I can deal with rubbish football, rubbish players (if they put effort in), I dont care one jot, makes winning more fun when it happens. But not to feel part of the club, no bond to fellow fans, it stinks, its rubbish. The key is in the last part of our name. "club" Are you reading this part of it? , am I part of it? Right now, is it even a club? Or is it just a thing a few people turn up to, out of misguided loyalty, because you always have (and fair play if you can and have the means). Where did the "club" go? shandypants
The lowest I felt as a Wednesday fan was 17th November 2010 when Nick Parker was stood on the High Court steps fighting back the tears.

owls_wawaw
Hats of to all you amazing fans that carry on supporting this tin pot club...I wouldn't mind spending the money for the promised great expansive attacking football with top stars but really can't be bothered anymore with this lot and even though my love for this club will never die I can't justify the waste of money and waste of time over and over again for two good seasons out of the last

vulva
My low point, in the modern era, is Dave Jones telling us Stephen McPhail wasn’t fit enough to take corners. 1
