Lee came back from injury and broke down in the first 15 minutes

Hooper played two part games in a week after injury and again is out with a new injury

Van Aken played less that 30 minutes in his first match back and was injured again

Bannan has apparently the same injury he had last season even though he had months of treatment and we were told he was fully fit

Winnall start training with the first team then goes down with a calf problem.

I am not blaming the manager for these but that potential 5 players coming back from injury then get injured almost as soon as they come back, If players are fit and ready they should not be breaking down after 1 game or a few training sessions if they are ready to return to training.

I have absolutely no idea what your point is as you keep contradicting yourself.

The more worrying thing for me is - we were told the injuries last season were a one off due to fitness level but this season we have so many players out again

Hutch, Hooper, Lee, Abdi, Matias, Van Aken, Winnall, possible Bannan,

Is it fitness or is it the training pitch, methods of training or something else we have too many players out with Knee's, hips and joint injuries for it purely to be fitness, they then come back and break down again surely with a player out for 6-9 month we won't rush then back so they get injured again but this has happened with Lee, Hooper, Van Aken and Winnall this season.

They're highly trained highly tuned professional athletes that experience jumping, jarring, twisting, turning. Being chopped, kicked, studded on ankles and shins and all at a pace and speed that few fans have ever experienced. Yet still we come up with ludicrous conspiracy theories.

Most of that list has  been unavoidable.

You may as well suggest the colour of felt tip pen has..?.

Van Aken played in pre-season. He played an hour at Wigan and was subbed as was booked and wasn’t playing well. He was then dropped from the squad at Hull and played an hour at Sunderland before he was forced off with an injury (bad, late tackle)

That’s nothing to do with Jos

He was actually playing well at Sunderland before he got injured.

He must be gutted.

Don't forget Hutch too btw, it looks like Jos is really working with him to make sure when he's back in the 1st team he doesn't go missing for months after playing a few games

if Hutch can get a run in the team he could be huge addition to our squad

Honestly cant see him ever playing for us again, don't think he's good enough any more.

So its a conspiracy theory when you ask why we have millions in talent sat in the injury room.

Why playing coming back from injury break down within the first weeks or games of their come back.

Why a key player such as Bannan who could be the difference of having any chance of a possible top 6 finish is once again possible injured with the same injury he had last year even though we are told by the club he had surgery and the issue was sorted. Did the surgeon do the wrong side or is there clearly issues still with our medical team and training methods. A player coming back from a long term injury should not be breaking down within 15 minute of his first game like Lee did, A player coming back from 9 months out should not be playing 2 games in 4 days like Hooper has done and then picks up another injury. Abdi has been injured for 2 years and is always 2 weeks away, we should have finished his career and claimed on the insurance the guy is a complete joke.

How long does it take to sink in. This club or any other for that matter don't have any control over injured players. They do however, have lots of responsibilities toward injured players. If a player is told by medical advisors that by playing through an injury he risks impacting on quality of life in later years, he has a decision to make. How many of our former players from 50's and 60's limp onto the pitch to make a half time draw for this or that raffle prize. Gaining 100% match fitness is extremely difficult, maintaining it is even more difficult.

Lee's current injury is a straightforward one. I wouldn't be surprised if the physios were expecting something like that. You don't need to be a doctor to understand that a long term hip injury can have an impact on other parts of your body, with the knees being the most likely.

KL will have spent the best part of the last 12 months walking around awkwardly while his hip heals. Limping, putting more of his weight onto one side etc. That'll put a bit of pressure on your knee. You're not gonna know just how weak your knee has become until you do some intensive exercise, like try to play a game of football.

Focus on the good news - it would seem like the injury in his hip has healed well!

Bannan has tweeted to say that he's fine, he was just feeling a bit sore. No story there, so no need to have a meltdown.

As for Abdi, I'm almost certain there's more to it. We can speculate all we want, but we'll probably never know. He's being given time in the U23s now, and has apparently been injury free since pre-season, so Jos is obviously seeing more from him in training than the likes of Boyd, Jones etc who aren't getting the chances despite being fit. I suspect that Abdi's biggest problem for some time hasn't been a physical injury.

Yep you are right on Abdi in the meantime he will keep picking up his £30,000 a week for never playing a single game

He is going to end up costing us over £6m with fee and wages.
