Another player guaranteed to come back and bite us in the ass, but for a decent fee, see ya later.

can we get an in detail report of his injury and log it so we know what 'NOT' (ahem) to tap him on during our games v. the lowlife/the dark side?

If they are just being mischievous then I like that the only plausible enquiry they can make is for an injured player we don’t want. Asking after FF might have been more unsettling but they’ve gotta keep it realistic.

Some of the figures banded around on here are hilarious.

This is a guy who’s currently recovering from a second anterior cruciate ligament injury and also had a training ground bust up which resulted in him been bombed out.

We’re well in the poo with FFP and yet we have a player who’s clearly not valued on around 20k per week and we still think we’ll attract 5-8 million for him. Yeah right.

First the Blades ain't got any spare cash to spend to buy any of our players.

There is civil war in the boardroom, the money for Brooks will not be spent on new little porkers.

However we should ask for double what BIG NOSE paid for Gary Madine.

Personally I think that Wilder just likes to see his name in print and if he can unsettle

a player at S6 he will do so.

You make fair points but Bolton, a club seemingly in a really dire financial state, managed to get £6M for a player who has not proved himself at this level at all not long ago.

Said striker managed to score the same number of goals as Winnall did following his big money move in January, Winnall proving to be just as prolific as the £6M man despite having his leg strapped up!

£500k because he was out of contract.

Yes, injured at the moment.

Knew where the net was at Dingles and Derby, before his injury.

Have their pants down, or tell them to phook off.

This sale would help with our finances though, we don't usually make money on sales.

We dont usually sell.

A bad time to be joining their team surely? May as well stay here try and recover and see what the winter window brings. It would be great to see him earn his place back. We are completely different to when Carlos was here so you never know things could change for the guy.

I'd loan him until January, have them pay full wages and he can't play against us. Then if he hits any remote form, we can flog for big bucks in the January window.

He probably won't be able to play until November/December so they'd hardly take that deal

This has got be a joke and a wind up 4 a number of reasons . 1 he won't play football at earliest Till October . Why would any club pay 3 months wages 4 a player unavailable .then there is no guarantee that the player would be match fit for at least a couple of months after that . Winnall has said he is looking forward to playing for us again . I'm fine with Rhodes going out with him on such a big wage and offering little . But with the near certainty that fletcher and hooper will either not be fit by 1st game of season or break down within the 1st few games of the season .having Winnall as an option in October is good as it's very likely 1-2 of our strikers will be injured by then . If we are even considering this I would be fuming

.getting Winnall fit benefits us and if he is fit and scoring goals increases his value then if we are desperate could be sold in January or next summer . What mess has chansiri and Carlos got us in? If any more leave apart from the garbage Jones, abdi,  fox then we are in very serious financial trouble. Hopefully it's just Rhodes and hunt purely to allow us a couple of incomings.

Our 5th choice striker on paper but yet 21 goals in 54 games is a top top record . surely worth 3 million +

I read somewhere before his injury at Derby he is the 3rd highest scorer at championship/league 1 level . Goal scorers cost an absolute packet at this level 5-10 million  . If we need the money get him fit and firing and if someone offers a mega fee in January then he can go to get us out of the financial mess we may be in.

No way should we even think about this until xmss
