Based on having no idea how good GH is.

By that logic, you would pick Nuhiu over anyone based purely on the fact you have never seen them play, could be Messi for all you know.

If GH is anything like his dad, he is way abo e championshio standard and will be one of the best players we have ever produced.

Perhaps Wednesday fans are that used to mediocrity that they cannot imagine anything more.

But if the lad doesn't want to be here, why cry over it? He might be the next David Hirst, he might be the next Francis Jeffers. But ultimately it doesn't matter to us because he wants to move on.

He did want to be here but we didn't make him feel like we wanted him.

Our offer compared to what he could command was derisory.

If a baby wants it's arse wiped the job usually goes to the Mum not his employer. This is no longer an issue for SWFC unless George  wants to recant.

An offer that was better than any offer to someone of his age group ever cannot be considered derisory. If we can't match what Premier clubs are prepared to offer then we can't and he can make his choice.

By going this far we showed we wanted him to stay.

It's a bit like the FF situation of last season.

If he stays, he'll have his boo boys who want him out anyway - if he goes, so what...

I blame the agents and the rest of them that are only in it for themselves, using the players as cash cows, just milking them for every penny they can get and not really interested in the club/players best interests..

It’s nothing like

FF is a proven top end championship player.

GH is a proven youth player who is now 19 and had a year out of football because he spat his dummy out because his dad wanted more cash for him.

Just out of interest how many players that star for England at youth level go on to play premier league? Quite a low % I suspect.

He May turn out to be one of them but he could have done what sessignon has done at Fulham. Get his head down and prove his worth

Bring on the compo!

I think based on the fact this lad hasn't yet if at all made the step up, compo will be minimal. He is still a developement player albeit banging goals in in the baby league. The mesters league is a different animal. There arn't many Vardy's kicking about.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s already signed a contract with someone which will be announced as soon as his contract with us is up.

Otherwise surely his agent would be linking him to every club going.

All very quiet really.
