If everyone is fit apart from Lee, I can see us going with;

Westwood

Hunt

Lees

Loovens

Pudil

Boyd

Hutch

Bannan

Reach

FF

Hooper

Bench;

Wildsmith

Palmer

Jones

Abdi

Wallace

Fletch

Rhodes

Don't think you're far off with this one.

Possibly Fox in on the LB. Has played a lot this summer. If so, Pudil takes Palmers place on the bench.

Gibson said he made mistakes last year and "wants to smash the league" so yes.  He said we lacked pace and penetration and would address this.

We have a good core group of players who have been there and done it.

Dimi, Ayala, Gibson, Friend, Clayton, Leadbitter, Forshaw all played over 30 games in the promotion season.  Defensively we were sound last year and had the best goals against in the top 5 leagues the promotion season.  Last year we lacked creativity and attacking intent.  We know how hard this league is but I expect we will be there or there abouts.

Can we have Ayala please?

It's most likely Pudil, or possibly Hutch, starting the season at CB

You would most likely be quoted more than the 15m Newcastle were quoted last summer.  He only had a year on his contract at the time and has signed a 4 year deal last summer.

We had the same thing when we were promoted. We didn't have parachute payments.  Gibson said we wouldn't break FFP when everyone said we would when we signed Rhodes, downing ect. He was proves to be correct.

We have also sold over 20m + on fringe players, Espinosa 4th choice cb, Husband 3rd choice left back, Stuani a bit part player, Rhodes to you, Fischer who hardly started a game.

We still need at least a winger and a cb and maybe a full back also.  Or 2 Centre backs if Gibson goes, going by WBA managers comments today, he won't be going unless a top 6 side comes in for him and we get 25m+.  Sounds coming out the club back this up.  He is willing to stay unless a top six side come in for him.

You wouldn't break FFP or Gibson would find a way round it by lumping MFC into The Gibson O’Neill Company Limited.

MFC posted losses of £39.1m in the 15/16 season when the maximum permitted losses for FFP were £13m. How's that not breaking FFP?

Boro accounts reveal massive increase in annual losses due to cost of successful promotion push

All nicely swept neatly under the EFL carpet like all the other offenders. People make Gibson out to be this Alan Sugar type super owner when in reality MFC are awfully run and up to there neck in debt.

Would be lunacy of the highest order to start Pudil ahead of Hutch at CB.

we have ample first rate CMs.

You are only allowed to loose 13m (permitted FFP costs, transfers, wages ect).

Promotion Bonuses don't count, and transfer add on's.  Nugent 2m, Downing 2m ect. That was nearly 13m with players Promotion Bonuses.

Stadium and Academy (we have a CAT A) dont count either,  Cat A minimum spent on it is 2.5m.  Stadium costs and training ground were around 10m.

Losses under FFP are 13m and that is set in stone.  The football club has separate accounts.

I doubt Lee will start. Is Loovens fit?

From the same source as our transfer embargo that was suppose to happen over a year ago?

In all seriousness, given Boro's £200 windfall last summer, I'd be surprised if they are up to their neck in debt.

What happened at the stadium and training ground to cost £10m.

Running costs, a stadium and training ground don't run for free.  Maintenance, running costs and security.  As a comparison 2014/15 yours were at 5m and ours 6.8m the same year.  The away end was changed, new indoor pitch at the training ground 2015/16.

If Loovens is remotely fit he should play at Preston with Hutchinson in centre mid. It's the kind of game we need Hutchinson winning the tackles and preferably staying on the pitch whilst doing so.

Cant agree.

If we start the season with only Loovens, Lees and Hutch as CB, either Loovens or Hutch should sit out.

Would u want to risk having to play Pudil as CB for 8 or 9 games before the Jan window?

We gave four excellent CMs for two places, without needing Hutch.
