Only wednesday can ****** defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Every football club forum in the country will have that sentence written on it about their club.

Every club messes things up and at this point in time we're better run than about 60 of them

The notion that the news of his availability somehow alerts other clubs is funny.

Does anybody think his agent would only have told Wednesday?

Maybe other clubs only become interested when we show an interest.

"He must be good if Wednesday want him"

I see what you mean, all the players who had very limited options of interested clubs and hadn't in the previous season played 32 Premiership games, yes you have made a very good point, silly me.

Reading one of the Watford reports though.....

Seems their situation is the same as last season. Too many foreign players, can only have so many in their squad, and their manager Mazzani (I think), took them away to a training stint abroad to decide who to chop from his squad. Abdi was sent home early to the dismay of Watford fans who love him and say he's better than Forestieri.

So, back to a more positive note before the stirrers do their best, other Prem clubs will be in the same situation, and as stated by our establishment, there is a reason why generally speaking, we're still waiting on incoming players.

However, Abdi's situation is clearly resolved now and Watford want to do the deal and apparently don't want to fiddle about. If we're serious about Abdi, he'll be ours within the weekend. If not, Watford have now clearly invited alternative bids.
