steelcityowlsfan
Middlesbrough....without Steve Gibson they would be in the third division or worse. Comfortably the smallest of the north east teams and only had any recent level of success due to a chairman with more money than sense. Pathetic support too. Only last two seasons have the fans come out of the woodwork. At least teams like Derby, forest and ourselves are traditionally well supported and considered big clubs for the division. They'll go up IMO but long term I see a fate similar to Wigan. Edited December 30, 2015 by steelcityowlsfan
StudentOwl
Worth a punt? must be decent. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3376871/Barcelona-cancel-contract-new-signing-Sergi-Guardiola-discovering-anti-Catalonia-tweets-sent-two-years-ago.html You would think so wouldn't you-but he's not The highest level he's played at is a total of 57 minutes in the Spanish second division... his most exciting season was last season where he scored 17 in 39 appearances in the Spanish THIRD division. Spanish Football is weird, especially at Barca... I don't think many if any in the Barca B team would get into our first team, and you can bet that this guy wouldn't have really been anywhere near the Barca first team squad anyway Edited December 30, 2015 by StudentOwl

Sova
Middlesbrough....without Steve Gibson they would be in the third division or worse. Hmmm... Boro: Seasons spent at Level 1 of the football league system: 60 Seasons spent at Level 2 of the football league system: 41 Seasons spent at Level 3 of the football league system: 2 Seasons spent at Level 4 of the football league system: 0 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Middlesbrough_F.C._seasons) Us: Seasons spent at Level 1 of the football league system: 66 Seasons spent at Level 2 of the football league system: 35 Seasons spent at Level 3 of the football league system: 9 Seasons spent at Level 4 of the football league system: 0 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheffield_Wednesday_F.C.) So not that much difference, other than that we've had higher peaks and lower troughs.
joelswfc
Another name... Yohan Benalouane of Leicester. Signed for £6 million this summer but has only played four times. Centre back, highly thought of but appears to be available according to some reports.
