bradowl
It was quiet during first half because little was going off in game. Second half was much better, crowd noise and game.
warner
There was nothing to get excited about in the 1st 44mins thats why, preston came with the intention of trying to pin us back and stop our fullbacks pushing forward by having 5 across the middle with johnson also coing in to help out. I'd say we were in total control without being dangerous. 3 points better off and those preston casuals or whatever they are called, what a pathetic excuse of human beings they are, as bad as the l**ds scummers

james o connor
Hahaha he obviously hasn't been very often , it's one of the quietest stadiums in the country ! The fact it's far far far too big for us players a part but let's not delude ourself, it's like a morgue
asteener1867
Its a deliberate dig cos they lost...he's always been classless...I mean how many managers comment on stuff like that?
marshy
There was no atmosphere in 1st half. It went hand in hand with the overall performance. Poor. 2nd half was better but still not great.
SiJ
It's actually a compliment. He obviously rates our support quite highly in general.

ViolaOwls
Across Europe clubs that have bands ect.... Never stop beating a drum and playing no matter what the score is. Ours just bang if there's a corner or a trumpet barmy army ( cringe) that's out of tune. I personally would like to never see them again but they could do better for the place. So for that reason I'm out
Freshfish
...what is this bloody obsession with a 'huge atmosphere'? We get decent attendances but if the football is 'meh' why should the fans be any different? Watching a decent football match doesn't need you to go bloody crackers singing for 90 mins...I love to watch a match and see how it develops...being quiet doesn't make it a rubbish atmosphere...and yes..even during the 70's it was the same and it was wonderful even then being a 'Wednesdayite'...bugger Grayson et al...and that includes the bloody Leeds Rhinos Band
ViolaOwls
We perform better with a higher tempo with the crowd behind them. When it's like a morgue it seems to create a negative pressure on the players
sheffield_dave
Well 20k there may explain it. But in other news, who cares what a losing manager moans about. Let's hope we hear a few more pointless comments from losers after visiting S6. Exactly this. It was a regular occurrence when we got promoted out of League One. If we get slated by an opposition manager every week then we're doing well.
jrh
It's going to be quiet whenever we pass it around the back four and goalkeeper for ages and don't attack, nothing to shout about that is it, unless its negative/frustrated shouts.
Freshfish
...who gives a bugger...we've got the ball, we can be patient, they get frustrated, we score...they don't like...we score more...we win...the end...
Earlsfieldowl
Very little to get the crowd going until the 45th minute. Anyway, it's 3 points to us and that's all that counts
TrickyTrev
Good for him, we take the 3 points and go home.

Mr. Chow
It's only okay at best when there's a derby or it's a game that matters e.g. Wycombe a couple of seasons ago. With poor attendances and high prices it's going to be a while until the old lady is rocking again.
