Ok. I'll be the one to ask a boring, serious, tactical question.

Does he work best in a partnership with another striker or as the lone man in front of a 5 man midfield ?

He is far better with a strike partner. Our senior striker Steven Maclean has a great partnership with him. He needs someone good in the air who provides plenty of knock downs and flicks for the partnership to thrive

Well that'll be half our under 30 Championship Manager Fanbase having a meltdown then.

If he can't play in a 4-2-3-1 then I expect there will be tears before bedtime.

Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

He can still play well up front on his own. And obviously in a different league with different players it might be different. There was a period of time last year when Maclean was injured, and May played with another striker who is small and quick. They didn't really have a partnership but May still scored lots of goals. He got a hat trick around Christmas time against Dundee United. It was beautiful.

The strike partner you describe for him sounds just like our very own Atdhe Nuhiu.

He's 6ft 7.

And a beast.

In other news, I don't remember Steve Maclean being that good in the air, or good with flick ons etc.

Though his game may of adapted from that of 10 years ago now...

Yeh im only being flippant. Technically we have 2 strikers who can operate in the air with another striker. Hopefully it will work nicely

Did that kid ask him if he has ever tried the crossbar challenge?

And then him give the answer that he used to do the crossword at his grans but he never completed it.

Love it!
